ThreatPrevent combines a monthly prepaid subscription with usage-based overage. The API records usage only after the threat intelligence request succeeds.

Charging sequence

Authenticate
The API key must be valid and active.

Process intelligence
ThreatPrevent performs the requested risk check.

Confirm success
A failed CTI request is not charged.

Consume prepaid credit
Successful usage reduces the remaining monthly credit.

Record overage
Usage beyond the prepaid balance is accumulated for billing.
Bulk requests
One bulk HTTP request can contain many records. Billing is based on the number of records processed, not the number of HTTP requests. A request containing 100 emails therefore represents 100 billable units.
